She Bears A Key

with distant light,

I come, I come, 

through Her gate,

Horned bull beckons,

Moon rising high,

Through the garden,

My footsteps fly,

Gather round,

The fire burns,

Candle flame,

The incense burns,

Darkness swirls,

The fog conceals,

Keeps safe from harm,

Those gathered here,

Obsidian shines

In silver light,

Flame comes forth

In midnight bane,

I gaze within,

Seeking the flame,

She shows me a key,

shining golden and wild,

What does it open?

What can it reveal?

Her cave beckons,

It's dark maw ajar,

Bull horns guide,

Counting steps down,

Serpent coils my body round,

The key, the key,

Take it now,

Shine a light,

Torchbearer kind,

Guide the lost,

Tell tales of Her,

That She might find

Her children come
